Faculty of Agricultural Production







Maejo University is the institution with the longest history in agricultural training in

Thailand. The school began to operate as "the Northern Primary Agriculture Teachers' Training

school" on June 7th, 1934, has continued to progress ever since, and has gained the status of

an Institute of Agricultural Technology.

In 1975, the institute began to offer degree courses (Bachelor of Agricultural Technology)

through its first faculty, the Faculty of Agricultural Production. As such, the faculty of Agricultural

Production was the first to implement the vision of the university since its establishment.

Currently, the Faculty of Agricultural Production has under its responsibility 18 curricular

programs covering Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Philosophy Programs. In addition, the

faculty is governing two administrative offices: the secretarial office and the office of special

affairs.
